Barak, Hiler, Mardirosian join Vanderbilt staff
Nashville, Tenn. – Head Coach Tim Corbin has added three newcomers to his staff with Brandon Barak serving as the team’s Video Coordinator, Brian Hiler as the Director of Player Development and John Mardirosian as the new Equipment Manager.
Barak joins the Commodores after working for the Toronto Blue Jays as a minor league video coordinator. He also worked for Baseball Info Solutions as a major league baseball video scout during the 2012 season. Barak is a graduate of Illinois, where he worked with the Illini’s women’s basketball program for four years.
Hiler enters his first season at Vanderbilt after leading the successful Midland Redskins as the summer team’s general manager. Under his leadership the Redskins won five AABC Connie Mack national tiles with players like Matt Harvey, Eric Hosmer, Cameron Maybin and Scooter Gennett. Numerous current and former Commodores played for Hiler and the Redskins prior to landing on campus at Vanderbilt.
Mardirosian takes over as the team’s equipment manager coming from one of the nation’s top programs in Texas. With the Longhorns, Mardirosian served four years as an undergrad student manager before joining the staff full-time as the assistant to the Director of Baseball Operations.
