Ezell-Harding’s Shannon Beaty and Lipscomb Academy’s Clayton Pickens won the 2016 Moss-Oliver Awards given out today by the Nashville Civilian Club following another amazing lunch at Swett’s Restaurant. The awards go to the best of the best all around high school basketball players in Nashville. Each school in Nashville nominates a candidate, and then the Civitan Club committee narrows the field down to three finalists and eventually a winner.
The other Girls Finalists were Chelsea Burt of CPA and Kaitlyn Rabb of USN. The other Boys Finalists were Sam Wreh of Hunters Lane and Bryson Baker from Pearl-Cohn.
Shannon Beaty will be attending Harding University, while Clayton Pickens will be continuing on at Lipscomb University.
