Ten Metro Schools Begin TSSAA Playoffs on Friday

The 2nd TSSAA season starts this weekend as ten Metro Nashville Public Schools qualified for the TSSAA playoffs, and they are looking to make deep runs in the  playoffs that kickoff Friday night.

In Class 3A the undefeated Stratford Spartans (10-0) will host Cheatham County (5-5).

Also in 3A the East Nashville Eagles (4-6) will travel west to face the undefeated Fairview Yellow Jackets (10-0).

In class 4A the mighty Pearl-Cohn Firebirds (9-1) will host Kenwood (3-7) while the Hillwood Toppers (4-6) go on the road against the Maplewood Panthers (7-3).

In class 5A the Hillsboro Burros (6-4) host Stewarts Creek (6-4) and the undefeated Cane Ridge Ravens (10-0) will host Summit (7-3).

In 6A the McGavock Raiders (1-9)  will travel to Cordova (9-1), the Antioch Bears (3-7) will travel to White Station (6-4), and the powerful Overton Bobcats (6-4) will host Arlington (5-5).
