Nashville, TN

The Nashville Predators scored two goals 3:06 apart early in the 2nd period to get on the board, went ahead 3-0 in the 3rd, and Pekka Rinne stopped 33 of 34 shots to take down the Ottawa Senators 3-1 at Bridgestone Arena before a crowd of 17,113.

The Senators dictated  the pace early, but a huge save by Rinne 6:00 minutes in seemed to ignite the Predators the rest of the way.

After a scoreless 1st period, The Predators got things started early in the 2nd with a goal by James Neal (3) and then shortly after added a goal on a nice wrister from up high by P.K.Subban (3).

The Predators went up 3-0 2:23 into the 3rd with a slapshot by Ryan Ellis. The Senators finally got something by Rinne with a goal by Kyle Turris (6) with 14:30 left in the game.

The Predators had 30 shots on goal while Ottawa had 34.

Next up for the Predators is a game vs the St. Louis Blues Thursday Night.
