The Nashville Predators downed the Dallas Stars 5-3 Sunday evening at Bridgestone Arena. The Predators had trouble staying out of the penalty box early and dug themselves a 3-0 deficit after giving up a trio of power play goals. But Roman Josi got the Predators on the scoreboard 15:25 into the 2nd frame. It was his first of two goals as he added his second marker just 45 seconds into the 3rd on a power play goal to cut the margin to 3-2. Soon after Calle Jarnkrok beat Stars netminder Kari Lehtonen to tie the game 3-3 with 15:20 remaining in the game. Filip Forsberg put the Predators ahead for good with a breakaway short-handed goal with 13:58 left in the game. Mike Fisher finished off the scoring with an empty-netter late in the game. Pekka Rinne finished with 18 saves on 21 shots.
